The History behind the Remove before flight Tag

1st Mar

The Alpha Industries Reg tag which reads “Remove Before Flight,” has now become a brand staple. Although there is more to it them just some added accessories.

The Remove before flight tags have been used as safety warnings to indicate that a device, such as a protective cover or a pin to prevent the movement of mechanical parts, is only used when the aircraft is on the ground.

Usually a bright colour the tags are easy for pilots and ground crews to locate. On the planes the tag is much bigger then the stylised version Alpha Industries has used for the jackets. The tags are a testament to our heritage in military aviation.
